Spinner Prosper Utseya has been reported for a suspect bowling action during Zimbabwe's third and final ODI against South Africa at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Thursday.
Umpires Chris Gaffaney, Jeremiah Matibiri, television Owen Chirombe and match referee Rosham Mahanama cited concerns "cited concerns regarding Utseya's arm ball and fast delivery," according to a statement from the International Cricket Council.
ICC regulations dictate that Utseya must undergo testing withing 21 days – but is allowed to continue bowling in international cricket until the results are ascertained. He will remain available for selection for this month's limited-overs tri-series with Australia and the Proteas.
Sri Lanka's Sachithra Senenayake and New Zealand's Kane Williamson were, earlier this year, banned from bowling due to illegal bowling actions. Pakistan's Saeed Ajmal is currently under investigation for a similar infringement.
