Vitori back in Zim squad, Tiripano dropped

Zimbabwe have named a squad to face South Africa in the three-match ODI series that features fast bowler Brian Vitori, but does not include pacemen Donald Tiripano or Tendai Chatara.
The series will be the first for Elton Chigumbura as permanent ODI skipper, with Brendan Taylor still in the side as wicketkeeper, as they look to bounce back after losing the one-off Test to the Proteas within four days.
Vitori's return is a welcome one for the hosts as he has been out of action in the format for a year due to injury, and he averages less than 28 with the ball in one-dayers.
It's a harsh call to drop Tiripano though, after he made his debut in the recent series against Afghanistan, which Zim lost, and took seven wickets including a five-fer. He also played in the SA Test, taking two wickets.
Another debutant, spinner John Nyumbu, who took five against the Proteas, has been included, as has teenager Luke Jongwe and seamer Neville Madziva. The pair are uncapped at senior level.
Squad: Elton Chigumbura (capt), Sikandar Raza, Luke Jongwe, Tafadzwa Kamungozi, Neville Madziva, Timycen Maruma, Hamilton Masakadza, Shingi Masakadza, Richmond Mutumbami (wk), John Nyumbu, Tinashe Panyangara, Vusimuzi Sibanda, Brendan Taylor, Prosper Utseya, Brian Vitori, Malcolm Waller, Sean Williams
