Watson undergoing 'intense treatment'

Australia hope Shane Watson will be fit for the first Ashes Test against England after scans on his hamstring revealed only a low-grade muscle strain.
All-rounder Shane Watson's participation in the first Ashes Test remained in the balance on Wednesday.
Watson sustained a hamstring injury during the seventh and final ODI against India in Bangalore recently, subsequently undergoing "intense treatment" in Sydney.
"It goes without saying that Shane and the medical team will be doing everything possible to get him fit and available for selection ahead of the first Test," said team physiotherapist Alex Kountouris.
"We will be assessing him on a daily basis and expect to have a clearer picture of his progress later in the week."
Fast bowler Mitchell Johnson and batsman George Bailey, too, are in doubt – after suffering respective foot and arm injuries during first-class fixtures on Wednesday.
The first Test will get underway in Brisbane on 21 November. Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney will host fixtures two, three, four and five respectively.
