Windies add teenage paceman to squad

The West Indies have added teenage fast bowler Alzarri Joseph to their squad for the second Test against India, bringing the number to 14 players after they were drubbed in the first match.

India won the first Test in Antigua by 330 runs, and the Windies were noticeably poor in the pace department, and have opted to go for 19-year-old Joseph to add to their stocks. This is his first senior call-up.

Joseph was one of the stars of the under 19 World Cup-winning side, impressing with his extreme pace, but he only has eight first class games under his belt. In those games though, he recorded two five-fers.

The second Test starts on 30 July in Jamaica.

Squad: Jason Holder (capt), Kraigg Brathwaite, Rajendra Chandrika, Darren Bravo, Marlon Samuels, Jermaine Blackwood, Roston Chase, Shane Dowrich (wk), Carlos Brathwaite, Devendra Bishoo, Shannon Gabriel, Leon Johnson, Miguel Cummins, Alzarri Joseph
