Younis just tried to keep youngsters calm

After helping his team pull off a record chase to beat Sri Lanka in the third Test, and clinch the series, veteran Pakistan batsman Younis Khan said as an experienced cricketer he just tries to keep the youngsters calm.
Chasing 377 to win, which is a record on Sri Lankan soil, Younis scored 171 not out as Pakistan reached their target with only three wickets down well before tea on the final day in Pallekele.
Opener Shan Masood scored 125 and shared in partnership of 242 with Younis for the third wicket that virtually sealed the match after the visitors were reduced to 13 for two on the fourth day.
Masood added just 11 runs to his overnight score before he fell but skipper Misbah-ul-Haq ensured there were no dramas as he struck an unbeaten 59 and it was fitting that the two veterans of a young side saw the team over the line.
Man of the match Younis said: "It is not that I train much, but I am involved in everything. I always want to stand up for the team. I play according to the situation. Yesterday when we were fielding, we knew we could chase 400.
"Credit to Shan Masood, he was amazing. This is a very good bunch of players. Misbah and I keep them calm, they play well under pressure. Yasir Shah has been impressive throughout the series. Imran Khan bowled really well."
After winning the Test series two-one the teams will now clash in a five-match ODI series.
