Former seam bowler Yograj Singh has been arrested by Haryana police after an alleged altercation in Panchkula, India.

Former seam bowler Yograj Singh has been arrested by Haryana police after an alleged altercation in Panchkula, India.

Yograj, who played one Test and six ODIs between December 1980 and February 1981, is the father of current Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh.

The 56-year-old Yograj was reportedly in a brawl with a neighbour and will face various charges within the Indian Penal Code, including trespassing and criminal intimidation, according to <i>PTI</i>.

The scuffle allegedly occurred after an argument over the parking of a motor vehicle outside Yograj's house. Cross charges, too, have been filed – and others involved arrested.
