Captain Elton Chigumbura and all-rounder Luke Jongwe have all but been cleared to play in Zimbabwe's second ODI against South Africa at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Tuesday.

Chigumbura sustained a minor injury during last week's series opener, which the Proteas won by 93 runs on the back of a fine century from opener Hashim Amla, while Jongwe was recently reprimanded – and fined – for breaking the team's curfew.

"I injured my quad but I think I will be fine. I just pulled it. I think I will be fine for the next game," said Chigumbura.

Jongwe, meanwhile, has pleaded guilty to a disciplinary committee – and apologised to head coach Stephen Mangongo and the rest of the team management.

The former Zimbabwe Under-19 vice-captain, who fell for 19 and didn't take a wicket on debut in the first ODI, was handed a 100-percent match fee fine.
