Daredevils easily overcome poor Chennai

The Delhi Daredevils caused a surprise when they easily defeated the top of the table Chennai Super Kings by six wickets in the IPL on Tuesday.
The Super Kings' captain MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first on a slow pitch at the Raipur. The slowness of the pitch certainly contributed to the side from Chennai only posting 119 for nine in their 20 overs.
The track cannot take all the blame though as the Chennai batsmen did not really show the necessary application needed to spend some time in the middle.
Faf du Plessis top-scored with only 29 while Dhoni himself got 27 as no other batsman got more than 20. As expected the Delhi bowlers were superb in helpful conditions.
Seamer Zaheer Khan finished with amazing figures of two for nine in his four overs, while South Africa's Albie Morkel also claimed two scalps.
Once Delhi knew what to chase it was never going to be difficult, and it wasn't. Opener Shreyas Iyer struck 70 not out as the Daredevils easily chased down the target with only four wickets down and more than three overs to spare.
