Ed Joyce stepped to the fore for Ireland in their 117-run win over Kenya in this week's World Cricket League Championship ODI clash in Mombasa.
Joyce top-scored with a fine innings of 88 and enjoyed good support from Andrew White and John Mooney, who pitched in with 28 and 23 respectively in a total of 237 for nine.
Hiren Varaiya proved the pick of the Kenyan bowlers with figures of three for 46, while Shem Ngoche snared a brace.
The home side's reply was an empty effort. Ngoche, stepping to the crease at nine in the order, weighed in with 28 – Kenya's highest score.
Ireland's performance with the ball was largely an all-round effort, with four bowlers clinching two scalps apiece. Alex Cusack was the most economical of the lot, taking two wickets for 13 runs in five overs to have Kenya all out for 120 in 35.1 overs.
