All-rounder Harbhajan Singh struck a six in the final over, as the Mumbai Indians trumped the Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets in Wednesday's Indian Premier League fixture at Eden Gardens.
The Indian spinner came up with the goods with the bat, hitting Rajat Bhatia for a maximum over mid-wicket.
The blow left Mumbai needing three runs from three balls and they managed them from just two.
Earlier Dwayne Smith had hit 62 from 45 balls to lead the Mumbai chase, one which was kept in check by Sunil Narine.
The West Indian spinner has been a star again in the IPL this season and he took three for 17 from his four overs. It was not enough, however.
Batting first, Kolkata had made 159 for six with Jacques Kallis top-scoring with 37. England's Eoin Morgan chipped in with 31.
Pragyan Ojha, with two for 21, was the pick of the Mumbai bowlers.
Mumbai's win was their fourth from seven games, keeping them in touch with the play-off contenders.
Kolkata, however, have just four points from seven matches and need to turn things around in the second half of the campaign if they are to make the top four.
