Rain rules at Grace Road

Leicestershire's Clydesdale Bank 40 clash with Hampshire lasted just 14 overs before rain prevented any further play.
The start of the game at Grace Road was delayed by rain, with the match reduced to 38 overs a side when the players eventually got out in the middle.
However, the inclement weather soon returned with the teams sent scurrying for cover with only 5.5 overs completed.
After a brief delay the game restarted only for another shower to necessitate a further break, this time a more timely one.
The game was cut to 17 overs each and despite all the stoppages the Royals had progressed promisingly.
James Vince notched up a competent 30 off 38 before he skied a catch to midwicket while at the other end, Jimmy Adams raced to the 50 mark off just 41 balls.
Adams was unable to add further to his tally, though, with another long rain interruption seeing the game called off.
