Set a target of 155, the Royals opening pair put on 108 in 13.4 overs before skipper Dravid departed for 53, caught at long-on by Ajit Agarkar off Siddarth Kaul (one for 23).
Rahane went on to finish on 63 not out alongside Shane Watson (28 not out) as the Royals got home with 13 balls to spare.
Earlier, Ben Rohrer's 64 not out lifted the Daredevils to 154 for four after they opted to bat first.
The Daredevils, who are second bottom of the IPL table with only three wins all season, were struggling on 78 for four before Rohrer and Kedhar Jadhav (23 not out) shared an unbroken fifth-wicket stand of 76 in the final eight overs of the innings.
The result moves the Royals into second place in the table on 16 points, two behind leaders Chennai Super Kings.
