Heavy rain in Hazelaarwag denied Holland a crack at a second win in as many days as their Clydesdale Bank 40 clash against Worcestershire was abandoned because of the weather.

The Dutch had secured a 40-run victory over Kent on Sunday to leave them fourth in Group A, but any hopes of pushing on up the table were ruined when the Rotterdam rain forced the sides to settle for a point apiece.

The game was called off shortly after midday without a ball being bowled, and while the point pushed Holland above Derbyshire in the table, Derbyshire have two games in hand.

Meanwhile Worcestershire remain rooted to the bottom of the table, having won just one of their six games to date.
