Africa T20 Cup semi-final line-up confirmed
The Africa T20 Cup semi-final line-up was finalised on Sunday after the conclusion of Pool D at Buffalo Park in East London.
KwaZulu-Natal Inland were the last team to qualify after topping their group over the weekend.
The draw was held immediately after the final round-robin game with the Pietermaritzburg-based team fixtured against Pool B winners Gauteng in the first semi-final.
The second match will be between Pool A winners Namibia and the Free State Team, who topped Pool C.
KZN Inland are the only team from amongst the four to have previously reached a final – they were runners-up to Northerns in 2015 – with FS the only other side to have made the last four previously.
Namibia, the sole team that has won all three matches in 2017, and Gauteng are in the knock-out round for the first time in the three-year history of the competition.
The finals weekend takes place on September 24 and 25, which is this coming weekend, at the Diamond Oval in Kimberley.
The start times for the two semis on Sunday are 09h30 and 13h00, with the final on Heritage Day to be played at 10h00.
